Pasta Polo's, Langley, BC

What a great place for comfort food! I sure enjoyed the pasta here. The atmosphere is quaint, a mediteranean style, with a bright feel to the place. There are a lot of great items to try here...that's the trouble, what to order...everything looks so good!

Best Thai Food, Langley, BC

Best Thai Food is a great place to try some Thai food.
Very good service, quite a tranquil setting, meditative in a way.
I ordered sweet & sour chicken and enjoyed this quite a bit.
If comes with complimentary sweet & sour soup. Not my favourite soup, but, at least I gave it a try. There is a take out menu, also.

The Reef restaurant, Main Street, Vancouver, BC
Wow! I tried plantain fries here for the first time!
They are fantastic! My favourite new food!
The home made sauce was hot and spicy, called Jerk Sauce, I believe. There is another Reef - located on Commercial Drive as well. It is a fun place to go to - - a Jamaican feel to the place,
nice music playing, outdoor sitting area and very good service.
I have to say it again: Plantain fries are unbelievable!

Dublin Crossing Pub, Langley, BC

This is a fun pub to check out. There is so much to look at inside.
I love looking at the painted walls with quotes written in a fancy font.
There are lots of interesting antiques to look at and different seating areas that offer quite different views in the restaurant. My favourite thing to order is nachos to share with someone. There are many different beers to try, my favourite was the Harp. Sometimes service is slow, because it gets quite busy . . .

S'il Vous Plait, Robson Street, Vancouver, BC

What a quaint, old fashioned, retro restaurant nestled on Robson Street! I sure loved the soup of the day with sandwich and the cornbread! The service was awesome!
Even though it isn't fancy on the outside,
don't let that fool you , inside is a cozy place with great food !

Washington Ave. Grill, Whiterock, BC

Seaside view, pretty atmosphere inside with chiffon white curtains that are lightly swaying in the wind....and white lights that add a nice touch .
I have enjoyed a few lunches at Washington Ave. Grill and always enjoy it.

So far, my favourite order has been the teriyaki chicken burger. I've tried fish and chips...but, I have had better fish & chips...the fries were 'shoe string' style... the fish batter was more of a light tempura batter, I suppose many people who want a 'lighter' tasting fish would like this...Me, I prefer the authentic style of fish batter...you know the kind, where you get the fish wrapped in newspaper, that is the type I enjoy more...but, this was nice & light...better for me, right!

Very good service here and not located in the 'super busy' section on the Whiterock strip...a feature that I like quite a bit . . .

Hell's Kitchen (West 4 Ave, Vancouver)

Last summer for my birthday I went to Hell's Kitchen on West 4 Ave. in Vancouver. We sat on the patio and watched people walk up and down the streets. It was fantastic. Kitsilano is such a beach town.

The food at Hell's Kitchen was delicious. I had a Cajun-spiced chicken burger with sweet potato fries with chipolte sauce to dip!

Fantastic food, atmosphere, location..Best tip? Order Cajun chicken!
